Devoted wife of the late Earl L. Pressel for 65 years. Loving mother of Harry (Vall) Pressel, Ann (Dennis) Cleary, Bill (Ginny) Pressel, Tom (Kathy) Pressel, Rick (Lita) Pressel and Mary (Bill) Cline. Beloved grandmother to 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Helen was born in Canada in 1918, moved to the U.S.A. as a child and became a U.S. citizen. She attended St. Leo's High School in Detroit and Oakland Community College (after raising 6 children).
She worked at Detroit Diesel and later in life at Schlussel Lifton Law Firm in Southfield until she retired at age 70. She resided in Farmington for 37 years attending daily mass and volunteering at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
Helen was an avid reader, enthusiastic gardener, bowler, writer and watercolor artist. She loved a good joke and had a terrific Irish sense of humor.
