Arcadia, Dec. 2 - Elam Singleton Albritton, 72, died at Arcadia General Hospital today. Born in Limestone in old DeSoto County, he lived in Arcadia and Limestone all his life and was manager for Crum Cattle Co., for 13 years and had his own cattle. He was meter patrolman for Arcadia during the past two years. Survivors include: his widow, Louise Bond Albritton; a son, John A. Albritton of Placida; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Grady of Arcadia and Mrs. Earl Barnwell of Fort Ogden; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia E. Fussell, Arcadia and Mrs. Clara Selman of Bradenton; and three grandchildren. © The Tribune, Tampa, FL, 3 Dec 1958
