Walter was the son of the late Bertrand & Mary (Suss)Baur, he was one of nine children.
Walter married Mary Sturm Dec 23,1908, they had four children: Paul(1910), Alice(1912), Clara(1916) & Bertha(1918).
Survivors are his three daughters Alice, Clara & Bertha; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and one sister Wanda. Preceded him in death were his wife Mary(1918) and his son Paul(1976).
Services were conducted by Rev Raymond E Orth at the Shetler-Bussema Funeral Home in Pigeon.
