On February 19, 1972 he married Betty Jane Siess.
Arden Bedford was employed at Huron Portland Cement Company, Pearson Mechanical, and Devere Construction, retiring May 18, 1999. He enjoyed playing cards at camp, working outside in the yard, and hunting and fishing.
Surviving were his wife, Betty Bedford of 37 years; 2 children, Greg Bedford, Becky Hamilton; 2 stepdaughters, Kenda (Randy) Yochum, Vicki Cripps; and 2 sisters, Marilyn (Robert) Ross of Alpena, and Beverly (Richard "Buck") Francis of Ossineke
Preceding him in death in 1992 was his brother, Alvin Bedford.
