Word has been received of the death of Fred F. Joel, who graduated from J.M.U with the class of 1914. Mr. Joel died from heart failure on Sept 25 in New York City while attending to business. After his graduation he was employed as a chemist with the Empire Zinc Co. in Cannon City, Colo. and was connected with this firm at the time of his death. During his college days, he assisted in the Davis Drug Co. in the university district. He was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
