Clyde Junior Smith, 60, 15667 Pinelake Drive, died March 12, 2001, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be at Magnolia Chapel South on Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma L. Smith, Cottondale; daughters, Barbara Dewever, Duncanville, Cathy Nash, Duncanville, and Carol Braughton, Fayetteville, N.C.; step-daughter, Angie Stowers, Northport; stepsons, Rick Martin, Cottondale, and T.J. Johnson, Cottondale; son, Tony Smith, Cottondale; sister, Brenda Montgomery, Northport; brothers, Jessie Wayne Smith, Moundville, and Marshall Eugene Smith, Brookwood; and 17 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Montgomery, Jerry Gilliland, Dwight Griffin, Eddie Nichols, Jerry Fikes, Pete Skelton and Bob Essary.
