Francis died while serving in the Civil War in 1862. Anna died at the age of 38 two years later. Her son George Washington Reed went on to marry Permelia Farrar in Mecosta, Michigan. Mary lived with her grandfather William Rose after her parents died. At the age of 20 she married George E Palmer in 1877 and remarried at the age of 41 Charles E Hilton in 1898. George and Mary are listed as sole heirs of Anna to land in Mecosta County, Michigan.
