Dorothy Mabel Southern Andrews, age 83, of Dublin, died Friday, Sept. 16, 1994, in Pulaski Community Hospital. Born in Pulaski County, Dec. 3, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Southern & Clora Morris Southern. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cooper Andrews Sr. She is survived by one son & daughter-in-law, Cooper & Ethel Andrews of Roanoke, VA; one grandson & granddaughter-in-law, Jeffrey & Lenore Andrews; two sisters, Beatrice Horton and Daisy Turpin of Pulaski; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 19,1994 at 11 a.m. from Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Barry Taylor officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Mausoleum, Dublin. The family will receive friends at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, today from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pulaski County Rescue Squad.
