James second son of Prince Soper & Elizabeth Allen, married Charity H. Barnard and were parents of Harriet Almira who married John Fisk and Charity Angeline who married John Jones Kelsey. Probate record of Prince Soper 7 Dec 1836 lists 6 heirs of his son Obadiah Soper, two daughters of his son James Soper and other heirs. Death records can have incorrect information because the informant is mistaken . John Jones Kelsey was informat on death record of his wife and he gave her father as Obadiah Soper and it was not correct.
