Nita Payne Herrin died in Waldron hospital . Funeral services were held at Pilot Prairie Church with burial at Pilot Prairie Cemetery in Waldron.

She was survived by five daughters, Mrs. Icilee Jones and Mrs. Wanda Massey, both of Waldron, Mrs. Rose McNatt of Arkoma, Mrs. Helen March and MRs. Julia Poole both of Starks, La; four sons, Walter Canada and Bill Ray Canada, both of Waldron, John Canada of Booneville and Harold Canada of Starks; three sisters, Mrs. Willene Ledbetter of Effingham, Ill, Mrs. Nadine Gibson and Mrs. Janie Creel, both of Hollywood, Calif.; six brothers, Clyde and Levi Payne both of Bowles, Bob of Waldron, Jeff of Bakersfield, Calif., Grady and Cecil both of Hollywood and 22 grandchilren.
