The funeral of Mr. Waino Aalto, aged 29, who passed away in Los Angeles, California, was held Saturday afternoon from the Driscoll Funeral Home in Ontonagon. The body arrived in Ontonagon Friday night and lay in state at the Driscoll Funeral Home until time for the funeral.
Mrs. Ida Hakala of Mass was the speaker at the service. Mrs. Bertha Smith and Mrs. Minetta Antila sang. Burial was in the Greenland cemetery.
A large number of out-of-town relatives and friends were in attendance.
