Mr. Booker, 71, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at his residence. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard, and was also the owner of Bookers Antiques in Whynot.
Survivors include his wife, Melwyn Linton Booker of Meridian; son, Ken Booker and his wife, Nicole, of Clinton; daughter, Rena Ellen Wilkerson and her husband, Steve, of Meridian; five grandchildren, Jonathan Booker, Cameron Booker, Landon Booker, Tara Wilkerson, and Leo Wilkerson.Pallbearers will be Gerald Robinson, Stanley Shannon, Andy Booker, Kelva McRae, Parker Shannon, and Jim McRae.
