Frank Joseph Maczinski, 80, of 284 First Avenue, Manistee, died at his home Thursday, November 4, 1971.

He was born November 9, 1890 in Manistee, where he had resided all of his life, except for five years spent in California as a young man. He was married to Celia Bajtka on August 6, 1917 in Manistee at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was self employed as a fisherman and carpenter. He was a member of St. Mary's of Mount Carmel Shrine.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Anna) Gielczyk and Mrs. Eugene (Alice) Morris, both of Manistee, Mrs. Edward (Stella) Dembinski of Ludington, Mrs. Joseph (Rose) Kowalski and Mrs. Ben (Florence) Masty, both of Muskegon; two sons, Frank of Lemon Grove, California and Floyd of Grand Rapids; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, John of Waynesville, MO and Raymond of Manistee; one-half brother, Andrew Krusniak of Manistee; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Celia in May 1970, one son, Charles, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Schubert and Mrs. Rose Blacker.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's of Mount Carmel Shrine with burial to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
