Michael F. Trawick, a former Marine, died Jan. 26 at a hospital in Maryland. He was 57. Trawick was a legal clerk in the Marine Corps and served in the Marine Reserve, from which he was honorably discharged as a sergeant. He worked as a freelance court reporter and was self-employed as a desktop publisher, transcription specialist and a website designer. He was a native of Theodore and a resident of Rose Haven Beach. Survivors include his wife, Vivienne Trawick of Rose Haven Beach; his mother and stepfather, Beatrice and Carl Zimmerman of Theodore; a stepdaughter, Barbara Gear of Crownsville, Md.; three sisters, Barbara Pyrtle of Everton, Mo., Pat Schwarze of Lone Oak, Texas, and Sallie Lawson of Biloxi. The funeral was held Jan. 30 in Rose Haven Beach. Burial was in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
