Elizabeth (Grable) Palmer was born Feb. 1821 in likely Baughman Twp., where her parents are found in 1820 US Census, the year before her birth.
==============================================
NOTE: There's no option for Baughman Twp. on Find A Grave, and listed the nearest town of Marshallville.
==============================================
She's the only daughter of Jacob Grable (b. 1783, prob. Fallowfield Twp., Washington Co., PA USA; d. 14 Jul 1848 in Wooster, Wayne, OH USA) and Elizabeth Bruner/Brunner (b. abt. 1780, prob. Fayette Co., PA; d. 31 Jul 1876 in Summit County, OH USA). I am still researching this family and will update this memorial as more information is uncovered about Elizabeth's roots.

Elizabeth's siblings:

1-John Grable (abt. 1812-?) m. Phoebe Weimer (4 ch.)

2-Paul Grable (abt. 1812-1872), never married; appears to have traveled shortly after his father's 1848 death to Placer County, CA and mined during the Gold Rush there.

3-Joel Grable (1818–1889) m. 1st Elizabeth Beals (1 ch.), m. 2nd Sarah Delilah Seal (3 ch.)

4-Archibald Volney Grable (1824–1852) m. Anne L. Cheney, served in Mexican War and died on their 1st anniversary; 1 adopted child.

On 12 Jan 1842, Elizabeth married George Palmer in Wayne Co., OH. George may have been a widower (son Jacob b. 1836). George & Elizabeth's children:

1-Jacob Palmer (1836–1905) m. Martha M. Stickler (6 ch.)
2-George Dallas Palmer (1844–1886) m. Nancy Ann Rice (7 ch.)
3-Isaiah (Isaih) Palmer (1846–1930) m. Elizabeth M "Libbie" Strayer (8 ch.)
4-Volney (Valentine) Palmer (1848–1948) m. Sarah Jane Smith (1 ch.) Volney lived to be 100 and 1 month.
5-Ellenor "Ellen" Palmer (betw. 1850-1854; d. 1858)
6-Rose Anna Palmer (1855–1860)
7-Sarah Ann Palmer (1856–1932) m. Michael Keyser (1 ch.)
8-Susannah Palmer (1859 – )
9-Infant Girl Palmer (1860–1860)

Still researching George's death, but it appears he may have died in 1885 in Vermillion, Ashland Co., OH.
