Mr. Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Hulvey, Festus, entered into rest on October 1, 2009 at Fountainbleau Nursing Center at the age of 76 years, 3 months and 14 days.
Born in Crystal City on June 17, 1933 to the late David W. and Myrtle H. (Day) Hulvey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Minnie Inez (Gardner) Hulvey.
Mr. Hulvey is the dear father of Charlie Hulvey of Festus; grandfather of one; and great-grandfather of two; dear brother of Colleen Yarbrough, DeSoto; great uncle of Nick Largent, Festus and great-great uncle of two nieces. He is also survived by many many friends.
Mr. Hulvey was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Donald Hulvey, William Hulvey and Art Hulvey; and two sisters: Mammie Tidd and Lil Hulvey.
Mr. Hulvey served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an excavator for Hulvey Excavating. Mr. Hulvey was a member of the Kruisers Car Club, The Plattin Rock Boat Club, Classie Chassis Car Club. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
