∼A memorial service for Dorthea H. Kornacker-Larson, 74, of El Cajon, Calif., formerly a resident of Chicago and Waukegan and a summer resident of Ellison Bay (Door County), Wis., will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept.12, at Ephraim Moravian Church in Ephraim, Wis.
Born Jan.5, 1924, in Peoria, she passed away Tuesday, Sept.1, 1998, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Interment will be in the Ephraim Moravian Church Cemetery.
Dorthea received her nursing degree and was a former employee of Grant Hospital in Chicago.
Surviving are her children, Jeff (Linda) Kornacker of Gurnee and Nancy (Timothy) Christofferson of Ephraim; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie, Eric, Matthew, Dorthea and Paul.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Delma Densch; first husband, Joseph Kornacker, in 1985 and second husband, Robert Larson, in 1995; son, Paul Kornacker in 1997; and brothers, Jesse Ward Densch and Wayne M. Densch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, to the American Heart Association, or to the Intensive Care Unit of Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
