Ryan Charles Rogers, age 23, from Boerne, Texas died in Roy, Washington, as a result of a motorcycle accident on Wednesday, January 24, 2007. Ryan was in the United States Army stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. He attended Boerne schools, played in the band and graduated from Boerne High School in 2002. He attended Southwest Texas State University and Texas A&M University. Ryan was a member of First United Methodist Church in Boerne.Ryan married Jennifer Sarver Rogers on August 22, 2004. They were the proud parents of a son. He entered the Army in 2004, and was proud to be a part of the armed services. He excelled doing what he loved. He had been awarded the Expert Infantry Badge and the Army Achievement Medal in the United States Army.
