My 4th great grandfather was the son of Charles and Clarissa Brundage Deming. He was married twice, his first wife was Jane Townsend, his second wife was Lydia A. Winslow Deming, my 4th great grandmother, daughter of David Griffin Winslow and Lucretia Gray Deming. They were married 03 Sep 1838, Oakland, Michigan. Orrin was some years older than Lydia.

Orrin was bound out to learn the trade of carpenter when he was a boy. He went to Wisconsin and helped build a mill. On his returned to Michigan, his feet froze interfering with his work as a carpenter. He then learned the tailoring trade and worked in Royal Oak, Farmers Creek, Orion, Oakwood and Brandon, Michigan. Orrin was also a farmer for a time. He returned to Oakwood and died there.
