VINSON, MRS. EVELYN LOUISE, age 74, of Gardendale, AL passed away on Monday, November 3, 2008. Mrs. Vinson was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Ruby Prestridge; and her brother, Jack Prestridge. She is survived by her husband, Don Vinson; 5 sons, Gene (Carol) Green, Larry (Terry) Green, Jimmy (Susan) Green, Ricky Green, and David (Gail) Green; 12 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Beatrice Laminack, Christine Tomlinson, and Barbara Presley; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
