Ed will always be remembered for his friendliness, his generosity and his willingness to go the extra mile for everyone. He will be dearly missed.

Edmund E. Federer III, age 54, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 27, 2010.

Edmund was born July 17, 1955 in Sheboygan to Edmund and Edith (Levan) Federer. He attended local elementary schools and was a graduate of Howard's Grove High School, Class of 1973.

Following graduation, he enlisted in the US Marine Corp until his honorable discharge in 1977.

For the past 30 years Ed was employed at Sheboygan Paint Co. He also worked part time at Curt G. Joa, Inc.

Ed was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish.

His hobbies included music and playing the guitar. He was a motorcycle enthusiast who traveled the United States extensively. He also earned a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and won several competitions in the area. He was an avid outdoorsman and jack-of-all-trades who could fix almost anything. He liked to go to garage sales, thrift stores, and auctions and was a collector of most anything.

Ed is survived by his parents, Edmund and Edith Federer; his sister, Debbie Federer; his brother, Tim (Sara) Federer, all of Sheboygan Falls; his niece and nephew, Sydney and Reid; his special friend, Linda Heus; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edmund and Mary Federer and his maternal grandparents, Harry and Ethel Levan.

Funeral services were held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Ballhorn Chapels. Father John J. Radetski officiated.

Cause of Death: Ed died in his sleep.
