Commander Vincent Ambrose Sisler, 33, who last summer purchased home of Dr. C. O. Davis on Silverado Trail near St. Helena [Napa County, CA], was instantly killed Wednesday when his automobile went out of control on the highway near San Rafael and crashed into a power pole.
Commander Sisler, who was commander of the submarine Blenny, now at Hunter's Point for repairs, had attended a ship's party at the San Francisco Yacht Club in San Francisco and was enroute home when the accident occurred.
The naval officer is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Sisler, a daughter, aged six, and his father, who came out from the East recently to make his home with his son and family in Napa valley.
The officer's mother passed away in the East twelve months ago.
