Betty Lou Cousino

PETERSBURG - Betty Lou Cousino, 62, of Petersburg, died at 11:25 p.m. Thursday at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, where she had been since Dec. 23.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon until 9 p.m. Sunday in the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida. She will lie in state from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a. m. Monday in the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Deerfield. The Rev. Michael Williams, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg.

Born April 15, 1934, in Petersburg, she was the daughter of Forrest Harold and Pearl Marie (Hoffman) Brockway. She married John H. Cousino on Dec. 1, 1950, in Petersburg. He survives her.

A Member of Church of Christ in Christian Union, she was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, Paul Eugene Cousino of Sturgis, William Martin Cousino of Toledo, Harold John Cousino of Mount Pleasant, Tenn., and Richard Louis Cousino of Petersburg; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Nancy Ann) Pollman of Circleville, Ohio; a sister, Ruby Rodgers of Adrian, and 10 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Services were held Monday, Feb. 24, 1997, in the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Deerfield. The Rev. Michael Williams, pastor of the church, officiated. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg. Capaul Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

She was born April 15, 1934, in Petersburg, the daughter of Forest Harold and Pearl Marie (Hoffman) Brockway. She married John H. Cousino on December 1, 1950, in Petersburg.
