"OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- Funeral for Mrs. Beatrice C. Elliott of 311 North Market, Oskaloosa, Iowa, who died May 16, 1977, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn., was held May 18 at First Christian Church in Oskaloosa. Burial was in Maple Hills Cemetery, Kirksville, Mo.

The former Beatrice Corbin was born in Brashear, Mo., and was married to Dr. Burl D. Elliott. The couple had lived in Oskaloosa since 1927. He survives with a son, Dr. Robert B. Elliott of Houston, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Andrew (Mary Lou) Anderson of Oneida; and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Elliott was a registered parliamentarian and served as president of various local organizations such as the Oskaloosa Women's Club, Christian Women's Fellowship and the county Historical Society.

She was the Daughter of the American Revolution regent, vice regent, chaplain, recording secretary and librarian. She was deputy governor of the Mayflower Descendents in Iowa and president of the Iowa Auxiliary of Osteopath Physicians and Surgeons.
