Serrelda King, wife of William King, died at the residence of her son, Clem, in Burlington, December 5th, aged seventy years and ten months. Mrs. King was born in Ripley County, this state, where she was united in marriage to William King. In 1864 they came to Carroll County and have ever since been residents. Theirs has been a happy life. Seven children blessed this union, two of whom survive their mother -- one, a daughter, who resides in Tennessee, the other a son with whom they have made their home for several years.
