Bartholomew services set

Lander - Services for Melvin Albert Bartholomew, 66, of Hudson, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Mount Hope of Hudson's Funeral Home.

The Rev. Eugene Webster of Hudson Community Church will officiate.

Bartholomew died Wednesday at Colorado General Hospital at Denver.

He was born June 23, 1912, at Yampa, Colo.

On Aug. 31, 1960, he married June May Hallstead at Casper.

Bartholomew was a heavy duty equipment operator and had been employed by Brasel and Sims of Lander until December, 1976, when ill health forced his retirment.

Prior to moving to Hudson six years ago, he had lived in Libby, Mont.

Bartholomew was a member of the Laramie Moose Lodge.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter of Denver; three sons of Lander and Hudson; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Van Berg of Centennial, and Mrs. Lorraine Wicklund of Laramie; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
