Cora Charlene Green, 72, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
Born in Rhea County, Charlene was the daughter of the late Clement and Pearl Kincannon Fugate.
She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Charlene was preceded in death by her sisters, Madge and Katherine McClendon, and brothers, Max and Frank Fugate.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Wayne Green; daughters, Portia Maynor and Camilla Meeks; sons, Tony Newby, and Scott Newby; a sister, Mathel Fugate; a brother, Bruce Fugate; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating.
Burial followed in Spring City Cemetery.
