NEWTON FUNERAL IS HELD TODAY AT FAMILY RESIDENCE
The body of Frederick C. Newton, 49, who died in Fort Worth, Texas, on Sunday, arrived here on a morning Illinois Central train today. Accompanying it were Sterling Newton and Major Cherubusco Newton, Jr., brother and the wife and daughter. Two representatives of Armour & Company of Fort Worth,in which concern Mr. Newton was employed, also accompanied the body.
A brief funeral service was held at 3 pm today at the family home, 210 Roselawn, with Rev. J. C. Marsh officiating. Following the service, the body was taken overland to Bastrop where burial will be made in the family plot of the cemetery there.
