Jackie Snider Hall passed away July 30, 2010 at his home in Ogden. Jackie was born November 4, 1953 in Ogden, to Bennie W. and Willie Mae Shaw Hall. Jackie grew up in Ogden and attended his school years in Ogden. After graduating from Ogden High School, he attended flight school and earned his private pilot's license. Jackie joined New Zion Baptist Church at an early age. He played little league football, was a Boy Scout, and played basketball all through high school.

Jackie joined the United States Air Force shortly after High School and served in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1976 in Tucson Arizona.

Jackie met a special young lady in Tucson, Joyce, and together they had a lovely daughter Jacqueline "Yavon".
Jackie later married Sandra Reece and to this union the son he had long waited for was born, Markel. Jackie and Sandra later divorced.
Jackie returned home to Ogden to live after a serious illness. Jackie enjoyed spending his time with family, playing video games, pool, basketball, and dominoes.

Jackie is survived by his father Benny W. Hall, Clearfield, Utah. A daughter, Jacqueline Hall, Chicago, Illinois. A son, Markel Hall, Tucson, Arizona. A special nephew, Larry Kemp, Ogden, Utah. Two special nieces, LaTosha Wallace "Gale", West Valley City, and LaTrice Wallace "Gwen", of Virginia. Jackie has five grandchildren and a host of cousins and special friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, one sister and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, 6 August, 2010, at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services from 12-1 PM. Reverend Doctor Bruce Davis officiating.
Interment in the Ogden City Cemetery, where Military Honors will be accorded.
