October 9, Mr. James Converse, a life long resident and a respected citizen, departed this life, aged 74 years. He had been failing for some time but was not considered in a serious state until near the end. The funeral was held on Wednesday, October 11, at the home, Rev. John Price officiating.
Three sons are living, William, Albion and Carl all this place and several grandchildren.
Two brothers, Frank of Wisconsin and Elijah of Dickinson; two sisters, one in the West and Mrs. Charles Ober of Hopkinton also survive.
