Local relatives here returned from Normal and Ashland, Ky., where they were called by the death and funeral of Mrs. Amanda A. Spriggs.
Mrs. Spriggs, the wife of Charles Spriggs, died at her home, Normal, Ky., October 14. She had been ill about three years and in a serious condition about nine months. Tuberculosis caused death.
The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Logan of Greenup county, Ky. Most of her life was spent in the vicinity of Normal and Ashland, Ky. She was 43 years and 11 months old at the time of her death.
Mrs. Spriggs leaves her husband, her father, F. M. Logan of this city, three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Runyon and Mrs. Inez Reigher (Reaguer) and Doris at home, and a son, Fred, of Marion O. The father lives at 2336 Gallia street, this city. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. John Kitchen, of 2336 Gallia street, Mrs. Myrtle Logan, of Mabert Road and Emma Cyrus of Duck Run, and one brother, Marion Logan, of Gallia street.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Centennary M. E. church at Ashland. Burial was made at Ashland.
