She was born in Brasher Center May 25, 1884 to John and Agnes O'Brien Wilson. She spent her early life in Buckton and attended school in Brasher.
On Oct. 20, 1903, she married Carl Converse in Fort Jackson. They lived for some time in the Brasher and Buckton area. Mr. Converse died several years ago.
She was a member of the Sylvan Rebecca Lodge of Parishville and a member of the Methodist Church in Buckton.
She is survived by a son, Roswell Converse of Parishville; a daughter Mrs. Merrill Hodges (Gertruth), Whitney Point; a sister, Mrs. Alice Day, of Florida; and two grandchildren.
