THOMAS SHIPLEY
Mr. Thomas Shipley, Civil War veteran, passed away at his home on Lakeview avenue, Millwood, in the early dawn Saturday morning. Mr. Shipley was 82 years of age.
Since last December Mr. Shipley has been in failing health. Last Monday he suffered a paralytic stroke from which he never regained consciousness.
Besides the widow, a son, Murray, and one foster-son, A. L. Parker, of Van Wert, Ohio, survive.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at Memorial Hall.
Burial was made in the Washington cemetery, Washington C.H. Mr. A. L. Parker was present for the funeral.
