He was surrounded by his family as he slipped into the arms of Jesus. He was most beloved by his survivors: Jane, his wife of 50 years; daughters, Debra Quinn, Kirsten, Jennifer (Michael) Langford and son, Jeffrey (Oksana) Hubbard; six grandchildren and sister, Marlee Stewart.
Born to Marion and Finley Hubbard in Binghampton, New York, Finley attended USC on an NROTC Scholarship where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He graduated with a BS Degree in Industrial Management.
Upon graduation, Finley was commissioned as a Naval Officer and served with the VF Squadron 143 on the US Constellation during the Vietnam War.
He retired from IBM as a salesman and Honeywell as manager of Customer Service and Management Support. Finley then opened Hubbard Business Services in Portland, OR and was a licensed tax consultant before moving to Tucson in 2001.
Finley's family and closest friends celebrated his life at a previously planned 75th birthday party on September 10th.
A small Graveside Service and interment will take place at the Veteran's Cemetery in Sierra Vista; date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to honor "Skip" may be made to The American Heart Society, 5325 E. Pima St., Tucson, AZ 85712 or to the Gideons International Bible Society at Tucson South Camp, P.O. Box #18066, Tucson, AZ 85731.
