Jean L. Adams, 80, of Livingston, died of a short illness on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at Mat-Su Medical Center, while visiting her son Jeff and his family in Palmer, Alaska. Jean was born on April 22, 1925 in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

After moving to Livingston, she was employed at several businesses, including at the Vogue Dress Shop. She was a member of the American Lutheran Church, volunteered at Loaves and Fishes of Livingston and was a longstanding member of the Livingston Roundup Association. She enjoyed the mountains and being outdoors.

Jean is survived by her daughter and three sons; seven grandsons; three granddaughters; five great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James F. Adams and her brother Bud Hart.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 20, 2006, at 3 p.m., at the American Lutheran Church, with Pastor Steven Paugh Leuzinger officiating.
