Herman died in the Aldercrest Sanitarium, Snohomish, Wa. from pulmonary tuberculosis. He was a woodsman by trade. Herman passed away October 4, 1934 at the age of 52 years; 2 months and 3 days.
Funeral services were held at the chapel of Moll's Funeral Home in Arlington, Wa on Saturday October 6, 1934 with Rev. M. Thunne officiating. Mrs Carl Moll sang, accompanying herself on the piano. The casket and alter were banked with a profession of flowers; the tribute of numerous friends and relatives.
He is survived by two brothers; Anders Gustaf Raak Sundquist and William Lind (born Vilhelm Raak) both of Arlington, Wa and four nieces and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs Emma Baker passed away May 17, 1934 and a brother - Johannes Raak died April 9, 1934 in Purmo, Finland.
Interment was in the Arlington Cemetery. Pallbearers were:
Art Anderson, Harry Olson, Swan Jackson, Leonard Erickson, Jim Wardell and Cecil Preston.
