Obituary: SOUTHBRIDGE - Therese M. Spenard, 63, formerly of 460 Hamilton St., died yesterday in The Medical Center of Central Massachusetts - Memorial, Worcester, after an illness.
She leaves a brother, Leo Spenard of Sturbridge; three sisters, Irene Bergeron and Gertrude Gregoire, both of Southbridge, and Sister Rachel Spenard, with the Carmelite Order in the Philippines; nephews and nieces. She was born in North Grosvenordale, daughter of Alphonse and Aurore (Monpas) Spenard, and lived here many years.
The funeral will be held today from Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., with a Mass at 9 a.m. in Notre Dame Church, 456 Main St. Burial will be in New Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made instead to the Mercy Centre for Developmental Disabilities, 25 West Chester St., Worcester, 01605.
