Shirley M. Abbott, 83, formerly of 81 South St., died Sunday at Mercy Health and Rehabilitation Center, Auburn.
A native of Syracuse, Mrs. Abbott lived in Elbridge and Camillus before moving to Auburn in 1975. She was retired as a nurses aide. She was the widow of John Abbott Sr.
Surviving are three sons, John Jr. of Camillus, Richard of Syracuse and Joseph of Fulton; two daughters, Barbara Kincaid of Port Byron and Margaret Wall of Baldwinsville; a sister, Frieda Ershman of Canastota; two brothers, Clarence Wilkinson of Moravia and Harvey Wilkinson of Chittenango; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Elbridge Community Church, with the Rev. Orval P. McBride officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St., Elbridge.
