When we were children Mom, Dad, and Uncle Alvin and all of the children would go to Wortham, Missouri and play T-Ball.

Jean has told me that her father was happiest on Christmas Day.

Per his daughter Nema Jean Weems;

Clarence served in WWII where he contacted TB within year of entering the army, and spent about two tears in a TB santiarium, it later brought on Emphysema, which later resulted in lung Cancer

Clarence lost his thumb, on his right hand while use a punching press. He was working for Vickers Electric in St. Louis, Mo. This was his last full time job. He worked part time at various jobs around Leadwood., Fran Clay, Missouri. he was know as Clarence to his family, however, most friends and family called him Hoppy.
