He was 53 years old and was one of the best know residents of Wayne County.
He was postmaster of Braman at the time of his death.
He also conducted a general merchandise store and was contractor. Leaves his wife, 2 sons and a daughter. The funeral was held a week ago Sunday afternoon." July 8 1914
