FRANK C. SHAW, 69, DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Word was received here today by relatives of the death of Frank C. Shaw, 69, former Jasper County farmer.
Mr. Shaw died of a stroke in a Grass Valley, Calif., hospital this morning after being ill for a month. He is the brother of Mrs. J.P. Herwehe of Route 1, Newton and T.O. Shaw of 313 South Sixth Avenue West.
Born in Jasper county, Mr. Shaw moved to California 20 years ago after farming for a time near Monroe.
Other survivors are his wife Lulu and four children, Mrs. Ed Dear and Don Shaw of San Fransico and George and Dale Shaw of Crestbard, S.D.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at Grass Valley. (Between Monroe and California he lived in South Dakota and he was born in Johnson County, Nebraska not Iowa)
