Mary Elizabeth Burnette Pearson
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Burnette
Pearson,87, of Lakeview Drive,died Sunday morning,April 3,1983, in Lynchburg General Hospital. Her husband was the late Herbert Penick Pearson.
Born in Bedford County, she was the daughter of the late Christopher Marion Burnette and Laura Ollie Milton Burnette. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
She is survived by a son, Richard Clay Pearson,Lynchburg; four daughters, Mrs. Roy Heath of Tyler,Texas, Mrs. Neal Saunders of St.Joseph , Mo.,Mrs. J.C. Scoville,Lynchburg, and Mrs.Howard Perrow,Madison Heights;25 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel. Burial will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.,Tuesday and at other times at the residence.
