Grocery Store Operator Succumbs at Age Of 73 -- Funeral Plans Incomplete.
Joseph Frank Heinlein of 215 Walnut avenue died suddenly last night at 6 o'clock at his home. Mr. Heinlein was 73 years old, and had lived in Charlotte since 1928. Since that time he had been in the grocery business here, and at the time of his death operated the H. and F. grocery on Rozzelle's Ferry road.
Born at Natick, Mass., Mr. Heinlein was the son of the late Bernard and Louise Leslie Heinlein. He was married to Miss Bessie Green of Newton, Mass., May 17, 1899. Funeral arrangements were incomplete last night, but services will be held Saturday at the home. The body is at Yandle-Weathers funeral home.
Surviving Mr. Heinlein are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. G. C. Fogle, and Mrs. James Henderson of Charlotte and Miss Thelma Heinlein of the home; two sons, Chester L. Heinlein of Westwood, Mass., and Corp. Donald F. Heinlein of the Army Air forces, stationed at Lawson field, Columbus Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. W. H. Kingsbury of Portland, Me., and Mrs. A. P. Bendsler of Cambridge, Mass.; and one brother, W. H. Heinlein of Charlotte.
