C. H. CHURCH DIES
PROVIDENCE, Nov. 25 Charles H. Church, formerly town treasurer of North Kingstown, died at Wickford yesterday of pneumonia, after an illness of about a week.
He was for years engaged in the jewelry and drug business. Mr. Church was a son of the late Dr. George Hazard Church and Maria B. Church. He was born in Wickford March 12, 1833 and received his early training at the old Washington Academy. When a young man he engaged in the manufacture of jewelry in Wickford and later in Providence. Later he went back to Wickford and succeeded his brother, Alphonso Church, in the drug business, which he conducted for years. He married twice. He is survived by his second wife, who was Anna E. Page, a daughter, Miss Julia Church, and a sister, Mrs. T. J. Hamilton of Providence.
