Funeral services for John U. Cordell, 65 years old, a Renton sportsman, who died Monday after a long illness will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Stokes mortuary. Burial
will be in Greenwood. A native son of Nova Scotia. Mrs. Cordell came to Washington with his parents when he was one year old.

Mr. Cordell was employed at the Pacific Car & Foundry Company. He resided in Renton twenty-two years, and was a member of the Renton Eagles, the Outdoor Sports Council, the Renton Fish and Game Club, the Poggie Club of Seattle, and the King County Sportsmen's Club.

Survivors are the widow Jessie, at the family home; a son Gerald, Renton; a brother Fred Cordell, Seattle; and five sisters. Mrs. Emma Allen, Seattle; Mrs. Azuel Jordison, Steel Lake; Mrs. Connie Rose, Mrs. Anna Martin. Both of Walnut Creek, Calif; and Mrs. Jennie Casey, San Diego.

Incorrect information on obituary and headstone. *** John Cordell was born 03 August 1890 according to 1891 and 1901 Canada Census. He came from Nova Scotia to Nanaimo, British Columbia with his parents in 1892. He arrived in Seattle age 15. On WW I Draft Document his birth year is changed to 1885.
