Mrs Stansbury lived in Moberly, Missouri for 50 years. She spent the last three months of her life living with her son, H. Glenn Stansbury, in Detroit.
Amanda was survived by a daughter (G. C. Dossey of Gary, Indiana), two brothers (C. T. Roland of Kansas City and K. T. Roland of Muscatine, Iowa), three grandchildren (Roland Stansbury of Detroit, Benjamin Dossey of Gary, and Mrs John Antel of Gary), and three great grandchildren.
Mrs Stansbury was a member of the First Christian Church.
