Jacob S. Galentine one of the best known and most highly regarded residents of the town of Lime, died suddenly at his home in that village yesterday morning. Mr. Galentine, who had apparently been in his usual health, went out of the house, and not returning for breakfast, a search was made and he was found dead.

Mr. Galentine had been a life long resident of the town of Lima, and was one of the prominent and highly esteemed citizens of that place. He represented the town of Lima on the Board of Supervisors during the years 1883-4 5 6 7 and was considered one of the brightest men from that town. He was frequently honored with office in his own town, and was known far and wide as an auctioneer. Mr. Galentine's many friends will be pained to hear of his death.
