Mrs Ella Mae Leppert was born in Leeds, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Andrew and Mary Oleson.

She had lived in Moberly, Missouri for several years and was a member of the west Park United Methodist Church located there.

She died on a Sunday morning in a nursing home at Shenandoah, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick, who died in 1970, and one brother.

She was survived by five sons (Richard Howard of Springfield; Richard of Callaway, Maryland; Roy of Winston, Oregon; Lyle of Fritch, Texas; Eugene of Westalton), two daughters (Mrs John (Helen) Smith of Shenandoah, Iowa; Cora Mae Oxley of San Diego, California), one brother (Elmer Oleson of Oroville, California), 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
