Son of Leonard Jarvis Kendall and Sarah Elizabeth (Spencer) Kendall. On October 25, 1865 he married Lucinda Irena Miller, daughter of Morris Miller and Lucinda Wood. She was born in 1841 and died in 1921. They had children named Willis, Lena, and Nathaniel.
