VanderVeen - David A Vanderveen, aged 43, of Greenville, passed away at his home. He was born August 9, 1961 in Grand Rapids, the son of Andrew and Shirley (Grabel sic) [her maiden name was Grabill] VanderVeen. David's family was so important to him and in 1979, the unfortunate death of his 11-year-old sister Linda left a void in his life. He was a graduate of Ottawa Hills HIgh School and graduated from Ferris State College with a Bachelor's in Science and Printing Management, was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon-Michigan Zeta Fraternity, was a member of the Greenville Country Club and was a former employee of Vertis. His many friends and co-workers; his aunt, Marilyn Reingtes of Grand Rapids; and his cousins survive him. His parents and his sister, Linda Vanderveen, preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2005 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with Dr. Louis Lotz of the Central Reformed Church officiating. A visitation remembrance luncheon wil follow at the Greenville Country Club. Burial will be in Grand Rapids. Memorial contributions can be made to the Greenville Country Club in David's name.
